Antonique Smith, Grammy Nominated R & B Singer [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW]

Recently, I was able to sit down with Grammy Nominee, Antonique Smith, fresh off the Grammy Awards festivities for her hit R & B song "Hold Up Wait A Minute (Woo Woo)".

In addition to music, Smith is known for her role as Faith Evans in the film "Notorious". She also played Mimi Marquees in the Tony Award Winning Musical "RENT".

According to Music Producer Dr. Dre, “She is the Industries Next Star.” It is evident that 2015 is the year for Antonique Smith with her first Grammy Nomination followed by the releasing of her upcoming EP “Love is Everything” this Spring.

She took time out of her busy schedule to stop by and have a very heartfelt and candid conversation.  She reflected on how important it is to have love around you, to keep you going with tips about keeping it real in the entertainment business. Kym Whitley: "I Always Say Adoption Around Him" [VIDEO]

Actress and comedienne, Kym Whitley, met with the press in the NYC Oprah Winfrey Network headquarters to discuss season two of "Raising Whitley" which will premiere on Saturday, January 3 at 9pm.

"Raising Whitley" is a humorous and poignant docu-series following actress and comedienne Kym Whitley and her riotous collective of friends - whom she calls "The Village" - as they attempt to do together something none of them has ever done before: raise a child. This season, Kym meets with Joshua's birth mom for the first time since his adoption.

This video clip highlights her thoughts about making it normal for her son to know, at this point, that he is adopted. She has become a positive role model for black single woman who want to adopt. #RaisingWhitley

Tyler Perry's 'For Better Or Worse' "God Bless Him" [VIDEO EXCLUSIVE CAST INTERVIEW]

According to my exclusive interview with the cast members, Tasha Smith (Angela Williams) and Michael Jai White (Marcus Williams),  the success of the Season 3 premiere of "For Better or Worse" on OWN this past Wednesday, can be contributed to Tyler Perry's family oriented work ethic.

The premiere episode at 9 p.m. Wednesday grabbed more than 1.5 million total viewers, and grew to 1.6 million total viewers with its second episode, pushing OWN to its most-watched Wednesday night in the network's history.

Synopsis: When wealthy socialite and notorious party girl Vivian Bowers is found dead of an overdose, no one is really surprised. The heiress to the Bowers pharmaceutical empire has been tabloid fodder for years: wild, pretty, privileged... and now dead at the age of 32. But for FBI agent Will Moreno (Laz Alonso, "Avatar"), things don't add up with this suspicious dynasty. Convinced the troubled girl's death was a homicide, he has a clever plan to get to the truth. Her name is Detective Joanna Locasto (Meagan Good, "Think Like a Man"). Twenty years ago she was Vivian's best friend and practically grew up inside the Bowers' home. And when she appears at Vivian's funeral, the family re-embraces her and no one is the wiser. Joanna quickly begins to uncover dark secrets and clues about why Vivian's life was very much in danger. At the same time, she rekindles an old romantic relationship and rediscovers the allure of the luxurious lifestyle she once knew. She's about to see once again just how the other half lives... and dies.

Also starring are Victor Garber ("Alias"), Tate Donovan ("Damages"), Katherine LaNasa ("Alfie") and Ella Rae Peck ("Gossip Girl"). "Deception" comes from executive producer/writer Liz Heldens ("Friday Night Lights") and director Peter Horton ("Grey's Anatomy," "Dirty Sexy Money"). The series is from Universal Television and BermanBraun.
