Good Morning America reporter Robin Roberts, interviewed President Obama. With Father's Day drawing near, the president answered questions about fatherhood submitted to him via video from members of the public.
The questions came from, among others, a Little League player, a father serving in the military in Afghanistan, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat.
Obama and his wife, Michelle, 47, have two daughters, Sasha, 10, and Malia, 12.
The president, 49, opened up about what it was like to become a father for the first time, describing a scene that he says unfolded like the "the classic comical father situation."(Read entire article here)
Akashic Books and Audible.com snagged the actor, Samuel L. Jackson, to read the hottest property in the publishing world at the moment: "Go the F--- to Sleep." On Thursday night, Jackson stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" and read an excerpt of the book and wow, no one can deliver a line quite like him.
Written by Rutgers professor Adam Mansbach and illustrated by Ricardo Cortés, "Go the F--- to Sleep" is described as a "children's book for adults." During its marketing campaign where PDF copies were distributed via email, it became a viral sensation.
Originally scheduled for publication this October, the book hit No. 2 on Amazon.com's bestseller list by April and was quickly released.
Born out of a Facebook status update, Mansbach has said that when his daughter Vivien was an infant, it would often take hours for her to fall asleep. Exhausted and exasperated, Mansbach posted this as a note on Facebook: "Look out for my forthcoming children's book, Go the -- to Sleep."
Check out the video of Samuel L. Jackson reading "Go The F*** To Sleep" On The David Letterman Show.

Recently, I had the honor of learning more about autism from my Yoga student and friend, Michel Pierce Burns. She shared with me her son's book "Dawson" (The Extraordianry Discovery of an Autistic Child's Innermost Thoughts and Feelings www.dansonbook.com)
Danson was invited to the White House because President Obama got a copy of his book. After he and Michele got in through security, they had to wait a considerable amount of time until they could have a private audience and picture with the President and First Lady. By that time, and given that large crowds and Danson don’t really mix, his senses were overwhelmed, and the Obamas walked in just as he was scratching Michele in the face. The Obamas were very calm and understanding as both Danson and Michele were weeping, and hugged them.
